Ebbb - Shallow Hits
Released 10th July 2026
The scope, variety and ambition of Ebbb’s debut album Shallow Hits is clear from the off. “Come Alive” whirs into being quietly before morphing into a sun-kissed, radiant piece of calypso-esque electronic pop; the Latin-flavoured “Now You Know” feels destined to soundtrack sun-drenched festivals this summer; “Shallow Hits” is as deft and detailed as it is big, bold and euphoric; while the wonky yet propulsive charge of “Side On” sounds like a drum ‘n’ bass club and church choir combined.
A fervent eclecticism and unpredictable restlessness underpins the album. Latterly the record dives into the moody technoid textures and multi-layered harmonies that characterised their debut EP All At Once - exemplified by ‘Youth’ and the closing track “I’m Not Enough” that lands an emotional gut punch to an album that is already littered with them.
Ebbb are exploring far and wide, deep and vast, yet they do so via an approach that remains unmistakably them. Shallow Hits is an album bursting with ideas, textures, rhythms, detail and emotion. A bold and singular debut record from a group who truly do not sound like anyone else right now.
Their visceral live performances, coupled with a building hype for their EP from supporters across press and radio culminated with NME awarding them a coveted spot in their 100 Essential Emerging Artists of 2025 list.

Released 23rd October 2026 Fudge is Michael Kiwanuka’s most free and instinctive album to date. A vibrant, deeply human record shaped by spontaneity, emotion, and creative joy. It’s loose, soulful, and alive with the kind of magic that only happens when the process leads the way. The album was inspired by the encouraging words of the late Chick Corea, whose interview Michael stumbled upon during the pandemic lockdown, urging him to embrace what he loved without worrying about what others migh...

Released 23rd October 2026 Some albums simply get better with time. Others wait patiently for the world to catch up. As it celebrates its 25th anniversary, The Joy of Sing-Sing feels less like an overlooked curiosity and more like one of the great lost British albums of its era. When Lush came to an abrupt end in 1996 following the tragic death of drummer Chris Acland, guitarist and songwriter Emma Anderson wasn't looking to recreate the past. She was searching for an entirely new musical part...

Released 23rd October 2026 Clara Mann’s luminous new album, Wishbone, is built on contrast; the brightest passages made legible by shadow, as Mann strove to picture a beautiful life and then to allow herself to want it, with absolute vulnerability. Leaning deliberately into the songwriting tradition, Mann reached for the rough-edged, performance-driven spirit of artists like Fiona Apple and Tom Waits; while keeping faith with an older lineage of plainspoken English balladry. With the folk sin...

Released 16th October 2026 Fontaines D.C. announce their fifth studio album, Dopamine Chamber, released on 16th October via XL Recordings. Produced by James Ford, it is the follow-up to 2024’s UK platinum-certified Romance – and the sound of a band moving decisively away from the guitar language of their early records into something colder, stranger and more synthetic. It arrives today alongside lead single “Marianne” and its accompanying video, directed by Dave Meyers. Dopamine Chamber arriv...
