Expected Release 22nd January 2027 A fixture of Cardiff’s burgeoning music scene, and heirs to their country’s lineage of great storytellers, Slate reimagine the gothic foundations of new-wave, charging their sound with melodic force and the white-knuckled intensity of post-punk. Following their widely acclaimed debut EP, Deathless, the quartet return with a new EP, The Grandfather Clock, in 2027. Long influenced by greats of Welsh poetry including R.S. Thomas and Dylan Thomas, Slate present ...

Expected Release 12th February 2027 Manchester post-punk group PINS capture a profound sense of rebirth on their 4th studio album - and first since 2020's 'Hot Slick' - 'If I'm Alive Now, Then I Was Dead'. Driven by pure personal pleasure, the band created this record as a cathartic exploration of existentialism, true love, grief and loss. The album's central themes are visually  anchored by its striking cover art, shot by photographer Timon Benson and directed by Helenskia Collett at Salford...

Expected Release 8th January 2027 Sing, Sung, Singing echoes the spirit of folk in it’s commentary of life, and jazz in its freedom to explore. Its looking inward at the personal and looking outward at the world around us. The thread that weaves this album together is the warmth and resonance of the cello, alongside richly layered vocals, building a sound world all of its own. Expected Release 30th October 2026 Following her foundational role in the early years of The Fall, and then the searing post punk of The Blue Orchids, as well as several tours serving as a backing group for Velvet Underground chanteuse Nico, Una Baines found herself starting 1985 without a band. Drafting together members of the all-female Beyond The Glass, and compatriots associated with her past projects, she entered the studio with a clutch of songs and a willingness to experiment. Separati...

Expected Release 2nd April 2027 “It’s actually quite scary to see what I say to myself.” — Hamish Hawk  Following the cathartic, critically acclaimed A Firmer Hand, which reached #22 in the UK Official Album Chart in August 2024, Edinburgh songwriter Hamish Hawk returns with Intriguer/Tenderness, a darker, more volatile and deeply self-reflective record that turns the scrutiny of his previous album inwards.  Where A Firmer Hand explored sexuality, masculinity and the complex power dynamics of...

Expected Release 13th November. Dinked Edition expected 11th December. The Radio Dept. have announced a twentieth-anniversary vinyl reissue of Pet Grief, their sophomore album and one of the most quietly distinctive records in their catalogue. Originally released on 12 April 2006, Pet Grief emerged from a period of false starts and reinvention. The band had already recorded much of a more electronic album before deciding that it felt too close to what was happening around them at the time. Th...
