Returns

You can request a return up to the end of the 14th day after the day in which the goods come into your possession.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase. Please note that if you unseal a CD or LP you forfeit your legal right to cancel for reasons other than a defect with the product (for which, see Damages and issues below).

To start a return, you can contact us at sales@sound-knowledge.co.uk, stating your order number. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.

Exchanges

The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.

Refunds

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Refunds for album & ticket bundles

In purchasing an album & ticket bundle for one of our events, you are being charged for the full cost of the relevant album and then receiving a discounted ticket price. In the event of postponement or cancellation of a performance we can refund the subsidised ticket price, but refunds for the albums are subject to the standard returns policy listed above. If the album(s) is/are still sealed/unplayed and are returned to us, we can refund the full cost of the bundle. Tickets are otherwise non-refundable, though if you're unable to attend a sold out event, we may be able to resell the tickets on your behalf and credit you, given sufficient time i.e. at least seven days prior to the day of the event.
