Bruise Control - Bruise Control
Released 20th February 2026
Bruise Control are a loud-mouth four-piece punk outfit from Manchester who’ve become a serious force in the UK DIY scene. They’ve been carving their name with a ferocious energy, mixing the raw aggression of ’80s hardcore with hooky, jagged indie riffs pulled straight out of the early ’00s. Their new EP and extended physical release, which they co-produced (by their guitarist Niall Griffin), really captures that chaotic, live-wire feel - think shout-along choruses, gritty vocals, and a jagged musical edge that somehow still feels melodic.
On stage, Bruise Control are notorious for bringing the party - wild shows, loose banter, and a real sense of community. They’ve played at festivals like 2000Trees, The Great Escape, Bearded Theory, Left Of The Dial and more, bringing their DIY punk spirit to a big crowd. The band have also played shows with Amyl & The Sniffers, Spiritual Cramp, Civic, Press Club and loads more.
Their single “Gone to Ground” is "raw, urgent, and emotionally honest — and it’s a great example of how they balance grit and melody" - Punkinfocus
If you like bands who hit hard but still keep things weird and thoughtful, Bruise Control are here for you…

Released 23rd October 2026 Fudge is Michael Kiwanuka’s most free and instinctive album to date. A vibrant, deeply human record shaped by spontaneity, emotion, and creative joy. It’s loose, soulful, and alive with the kind of magic that only happens when the process leads the way. The album was inspired by the encouraging words of the late Chick Corea, whose interview Michael stumbled upon during the pandemic lockdown, urging him to embrace what he loved without worrying about what others migh...

Released 23rd October 2026 Some albums simply get better with time. Others wait patiently for the world to catch up. As it celebrates its 25th anniversary, The Joy of Sing-Sing feels less like an overlooked curiosity and more like one of the great lost British albums of its era. When Lush came to an abrupt end in 1996 following the tragic death of drummer Chris Acland, guitarist and songwriter Emma Anderson wasn't looking to recreate the past. She was searching for an entirely new musical part...

Released 23rd October 2026 Clara Mann’s luminous new album, Wishbone, is built on contrast; the brightest passages made legible by shadow, as Mann strove to picture a beautiful life and then to allow herself to want it, with absolute vulnerability. Leaning deliberately into the songwriting tradition, Mann reached for the rough-edged, performance-driven spirit of artists like Fiona Apple and Tom Waits; while keeping faith with an older lineage of plainspoken English balladry. With the folk sin...

Released 16th October 2026 Fontaines D.C. announce their fifth studio album, Dopamine Chamber, released on 16th October via XL Recordings. Produced by James Ford, it is the follow-up to 2024’s UK platinum-certified Romance – and the sound of a band moving decisively away from the guitar language of their early records into something colder, stranger and more synthetic. It arrives today alongside lead single “Marianne” and its accompanying video, directed by Dave Meyers. Dopamine Chamber arriv...
