JW Francis - WANDERKID
Released 5th November 2021.
JW Francis burst onto the scene with his critically acclaimed debut ‘We Share a Similar Joy’, with features from DIY and Line of Best Fit to being named Album of The Day on BBC 6 Music. His warm, affable melodies and comforting lyrics earned him fans on both sides of the Atlantic, and now he returns with his sophomore album WANDERKID, a concept album about a wandering anti-hero.
WANDERKID hones in on JW’s dreamy soundscapes and explores themes of escapism, whilst still maintaining that sense of comfort and intimacy so beautifully demonstrated in his debut. To celebrate the release, JW is going on a 2,000 mile walking journey across the Eastern United States along the Appalachian Trail.
With WANDERKID, JW Francis is further cementing his place as a future stalwart in the
alternative New York scene.

Expected Release 22nd January 2027 A fixture of Cardiff’s burgeoning music scene, and heirs to their country’s lineage of great storytellers, Slate reimagine the gothic foundations of new-wave, charging their sound with melodic force and the white-knuckled intensity of post-punk. Following their widely acclaimed debut EP, Deathless, the quartet return with a new EP, The Grandfather Clock, in 2027. Long influenced by greats of Welsh poetry including R.S. Thomas and Dylan Thomas, Slate present ...

Expected Release 12th February 2027 Manchester post-punk group PINS capture a profound sense of rebirth on their 4th studio album - and first since 2020's 'Hot Slick' - 'If I'm Alive Now, Then I Was Dead'. Driven by pure personal pleasure, the band created this record as a cathartic exploration of existentialism, true love, grief and loss. The album's central themes are visually anchored by its striking cover art, shot by photographer Timon Benson and directed by Helenskia Collett at Salford...

Expected Release 8th January 2027 Sing, Sung, Singing echoes the spirit of folk in it’s commentary of life, and jazz in its freedom to explore. Its looking inward at the personal and looking outward at the world around us. The thread that weaves this album together is the warmth and resonance of the cello, alongside richly layered vocals, building a sound world all of its own. Recorded by Sam Grant (Richard Dawson, Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs Pigs) at Blank Studios in Newcastle, the product...
