Hot Chip's seminal debut album, originally released on Moshi Moshi Records in 2004, now available in a special expanded deluxe edition.
Celebrating 20 years of Coming on Strong, the special expanded triple LP version features 7 bonus tracks and a bonus photo booklet featuring archive photos of the band from the noughties.
There's a lovable oddball quality to the album with hints of Prince, The Beastie Boys, Beck... a souled-up folk vision of chilled out pop music with a twist. Hot Chip display an omnivorous approach to the entirety of alt, 60's pop and electronic music history. Their songs are infectious, silly, and often weirdly beautiful.
