Sweet Giant Instore - 26.11.26

We're delighted to announce that Wiltshire's own Sweet Giant will be playing live in the shop from 6.30pm on Thursday 26th November to celebrate the release of their debut album, 'Show Teeth'. Entry is FREE but please RSVP to sales@sound-knowledge.co.uk to guarantee your spot, or pre-order a copy of the album from us.

Led by singer-guitarist Annie Needham, the band cut their own show teeth on the London live circuit, on UK and EU tours and in support slots for the likes of ASH, Ren (Harvieu) & Romeo (Stodart) and Black Foxxes, as well as being a crucial presence in the south-west's burgeoning new wave of folk alongside their producer Gus White and their Man Made Tigers labelmates.

Blending the slacker rock of Kurt Vile or Courtney Barnett with a rootsy sensibility- a bit like a British answer to Wednesday- the album was recorded both live with Gus at the now legendary The Barn, and self-produced in the band's own London studio. It's released on CD and LP on Friday 20th November.
