New Release Round-Up 9th July

Out Today

Upcoming guest Tom Odell returns with 'monsters' which finds the BRITs Critics Choice and Ivor Novello-winning singer-songwriter exploring recent mental health struggles on an album which blends bedroom pop production with his epic balladry. It's available on CD, LP and indies clear vinyl. If you've ordered a ticket bundle for the event at the Mem Hall in September, your album(s) will be available to collect from today. And if you haven't already booked then we've still got some ticket bundles available

Up-and-coming Dublin quartet Inhaler release their debut full-length 'It Won't Always Be Like This', living up to the stadium rock pedigree of frontman Elijah Hewson (Bono's eldest son). Also, on the famous rock sons theme, there's a first album in nearly a decade from Jakob Dylan-led The Wallflowers. 'Exit Wounds' is available on CD, LP and indies purple LP. 'Mirror II' is the third album from Aussie outfit The Goon Sax, produced by the legendary John Parish on CD, LP and indies white vinyl.

Reissues

The twentieth anniversary of Muse's breakthrough 'Origin of Symmetry' is celebrated with a remix LP and also celebrating two decades since its release is Turin Brakes classic 'The Optimist LP'- the Dinked Edition is long sold out but CD and indies vinyl formats are still up for grabs.

Pre-Orders

Stacks announced this week but a few highlights include a first new album in three years from Aussie singer-songwriter Courtney Barnett, an 80s-themed covers EP from Angel Olsen, a new album from previous SK guests Frank Carter & The Rattlesnakes, plus sophomore records from Tyneside rocker Sam Fender and Rebecca Lucy Taylor's Self Esteem project.
