GIRLBAND! are inviting you to The House Party In-Stores. The band will be playing an intimate acoustic set live in Sound Knowledge on Thursday 12th November from 6.30pm, featuring tracks from their upcoming self titled debut album, out November 13th.
Their fast-rising new era is built around the idea of a night in motion, the perfect setting for a band whose sound pulls from the fuzzy guitars, garage-rock attitude and raw energy of alternative '90s. Carving out their own space somewhere between The Breeders, Hole and The Cranberries, they radiate charm with a healthy dose of chaos thrown in.
Already tipped by NME, The Line of Best Fit, Rolling Stone UK, Clash and Dork, with support from BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 1 and Radio X, GIRLBAND! have built a reputation as one of the most exciting young bands around. More than 200 shows across the UK and Europe have taken them to Glastonbury, Isle of Wight Festival, Reeperbahn and The Great Escape, alongside support slots with Sex Pistols, Jake Bugg, James, Palaye Royale, Destroy Boys and Nxdia.
