Gus joins us in the shop on release day, playing live from 6.30pm and signing copies of the album. Entry is FREE, but please RSVP if you'd like to come along. Or you can pre-order a copy of the album from us to guarantee your place.
Produced, mixed and mastered by himself, and featuring the warmth and hiss of 2-inch tape, For Now, Anyway tells his story of heartbreak and recovery after a devastating break-up. White reflects, “I wrote these songs to try to understand myself in a time of overwhelming uncertainty. Maybe so I had something to cling on to.” Recorded live at his home studio in Chute, with a band comprising local musicians and friends, Gus White blends folk, country and Americana in an album that feels home-grown, matured, and authentic in its direct, foundational songwriting.
