Voka Gentle Instore - 04.03.26

Absolutely delighted to welcome back the brilliant Voka Gentle to the shop on Wednesday 4th March. The experimental trio made up of Marlborough's own William J Stokes and twins Imogen and Ellie Mason will be playing a short set from 6.30pm in-store to celebrate the release of their brand new album 'Domestic Bliss'.

Examining the uses and abuses of power through the lens of prehistory and pop culture, 'Domestic Bliss' is a throat-grabbing, avant-garde indie rock record studded with eccentric choices: a synth with its keys jammed, playing a tune of its own making; field recordings – Morris dancers, motorbikes – captured on binaural headphones.
