Nu-jazz outfit Vertaal will be joining us for an exclusive performance in the shop itself on Friday 19th November to promote the release of their double-LP 'Paradigm Shifting'.

Ajit Gill & Theo Howarth share a love of groove & improvisation, forming musical ideas traversing spiritual nu-jazz, Dilla-esque hip-hop, broken beat & neo-soul. As Vertaal, they're a fixture on the scene, supporting the likes of Mark Giuliana and Richard Spaven and tipped as "ones to watch" by the venerable Jazz Re:Freshed.

Entry for this one is free, just let us know if you're intending to come. Copies of 'Paradigm Shifting' will be available to purchase on the night. We'll also have a beat set from from two Resilienza Records artists: Italian beatmaker J. Raise, Jr and Amsterdam-based DJ Sunn Pei.
