The Mysterines @ Sound Knowledge - Saturday 12th March 2022

We're thrilled to announce that hotly tipped North West rockers THE MYSTERINES will be playing a short set at Marlborough Town Hall from 7.45pm on Saturday 12th March to celebrate the release of their debut album 'Reeling'.

Coalescing around Liverpool-born frontwoman Lia Metcalfe, who cites darkly compelling performers like PJ Harvey and Tom Waits among her chief influences, The Mysterines have been making waves despite a pandemic-hit schedule with a sold out tour concluding just before the lockdowns as well as support slots for the likes of Miles Kane, Royal Blood and last year's visitors Sea Girls. They count Paul Weller among their fans with Metcalfe featuring on last year's chart-topping 'Fat Pop'.

Debut record 'Reeling' was cut live with acclaimed producer Catherine Marks (Wolf Alice, The Big Moon) to capture the intensity of the band. Grief, self-destruction and heartache are leavened by jet black humour and Metcalfe's cine-literate lyrics.

'Reeling' is available on CD, LP and an indies exclusive red vinyl, released on Friday 11th March. Tickets and bundles are available exclusively from Sound Knowledge, with priority sale launching in-store and over the phone on 01672 511106.

CD & ticket bundle - £15
Standard vinyl & ticket bundle - £22
Indies coloured vinyl & ticket bundle - £25
Standalone Ticket - £11

There are a limited number of standalone tickets available in addition to the bundles for this event but we'd ask you to consider buying a bundle where possible- it's better value for you and album sales help the artist and also help us to organise these P.A.s.
